Who is responsible
Wafflerocketzind Design Media Ltd is the controller for personal information it receives in connection with this website. Our registered office is 9 Queen Square, Bath BA1 2HA, United Kingdom; company number 15326748. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or rights requests.
The local worksheet
The contact worksheet generates text within your browser. Its script does not transmit your entries to us, write them to localStorage or create an account. Copying uses your device’s clipboard where available; downloading creates a text file on your device. Clipboard history, downloaded files, browser form recovery and shared-device access are controlled by your device and browser. Clear or delete material you do not want to retain.
If you paste the draft into an email and send it, your email provider and our email service process that correspondence. Generating a draft is not the same as sending it.
Information received through correspondence
If you email us, we may receive your name, email address, message content and associated correspondence metadata. Please supply only what is necessary. Do not send health information, security details, payment data or personal information about others without a proper reason and authority.
We use correspondence to answer editorial queries, consider corrections, maintain relevant records and protect against misuse. Our usual legal basis is legitimate interests in operating an informative website and responding to voluntary enquiries. Where processing is required to meet a legal obligation, that obligation is the relevant basis. We do not add correspondents to a marketing list through this worksheet.
Technical information
Delivering a webpage necessarily involves technical request information, such as an IP address, requested file and browser-related headers. Hosting and security infrastructure may process that information to deliver and protect the service. The supplied site code contains no analytics, advertising pixels, external font requests or third-party embedded media. See the device preference record for the storage behaviour of the site files.
Access, sharing and retention
Personal information may be handled by service providers supporting hosting, email and security, acting under appropriate arrangements, or disclosed where required by law. We do not sell correspondence. If a provider processes information outside the UK, applicable transfer requirements must be addressed, including recognised adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual safeguards where needed.
We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, follow-up, record-keeping and any applicable legal requirements. Relevant factors include whether a matter remains open, whether a correction has an ongoing editorial record and whether a legal claim or obligation requires retention. We do not promise a single retention period for all messages.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. Some rights have exceptions. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to your relevant supervisory authority.
Security and changes
No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. Keep sensitive project records within appropriate professional channels. We may update this notice when the site’s practices change; review the current version before supplying personal information.
